I’ll admit, even I sometimes go through an impulse purchase and come out of a store with a piece I have high hopes for styling and end up having hang in the closet for weeks before I can really pull something together. Thats the case with this green leather camisole from Zara. I purchased this some months ago in hopes of wearing it with a multitude of items. I did wear it once but unfortunately I wasn’t super impressed with the way it looked. I had a spark of inspiration recently however in the form of layering. One of the problems with this piece was it’s oversized feel and with my lack of curves it made it more difficult to wear on its own. If you’re like me and a lover of 90s fashion trends I”m sure you’ll have picked up the layering kick sometime recently. Paired with some cropped wide leg denim (cut by me), leather chelsea boots and a black choker and I had the perfect outfit situated. Sometimes fashion comes to me in spurts and although I know I love a piece sometimes it takes the right timing for me to really utilize it to its maximum capacity.
