Copa Vida Coffee San Diego
On a recent trip down to San Diego for Comic Con I made it a mission to get in all the hot spots of Downtown San Diego and to stop at a coffee shop to actually not have to deal with hotel coffee for one day. I of course utilized Yelp to find a Copa Vida location down in SD. I have visited the Pasadena location back in January but was thrilled to find this open location. With it’s high ceilings, open patio, and minimalist design, it’s a dreamy space to sit and work for the day. Plus, being located right next to Petco Park you’ll get to experience a true downtown experience without being too overcrowded. I grabbed the last avocado toast (not really sure how that happened) as well as an Iced Latte with Almond Milk. What I loved most about the avo toast was it’s thick toast & of course, the sunny side up egg on top to give you some added protein for the day! Both were incredibly good and it was surprisingly uncrowded for a Sunday at around noon. I’d definitely pop in here with some work, grab a coffee, pastry or sandwich and enjoy the incredible downtown views of San Diego.
