You’ve got to be a little creative when it comes to dressing for Fall in Southern California. Majority of the time you are going through waves of cold fronts (if you call 70 degrees cold) or major heat swells going up to 90s. Today happened to be the first day we jumped out of low 70s and into the 90s once more, and I mean that in more way than one. I am in love with a new clothing line called Flair the Label. Their mix of flirty prints and shapes make this a girls dream closet. Every single piece I tried on fit me like a glove and I have to say that can be difficult for me at times. It also flatters the body and as someone who doesn’t have a very curvy figure, this hits me in all the right spots to make it appear so. I can’t wait to share a few more of their pieces! For today however I opted for a slick 90s style square neck mini slip dress. To make the look a little more chic I threw on a cashmere turtle neck (thrifted guys, always thrift), my metallic blue loafers from TopShop, my Lack of Color fedora and my new circular glasses by Eye Buy Direct. These frames also feature their EBD Blue lenses that help protect against the blue light emitted from digital screens. For someone who literally spends almost all hours of the day on a screen, I can say I haven’t taken these glasses off. Also, can we just talk about how great these Harry Potter esq frames are? Who would have ever thought I’d want to wear a pair of glasses like this, not only are they chic, but they make me question whether anything can be considered “uncool” anymore.
