Pleather Skirts & Fishnet Tights

Feeling like I’m back to my roots with this street style inspired look. I of course am layering again, so this sheer black blouse has been in heavy rotation. I decided to go early 2000s style with a long sleeve tee layered under a fun graphic tee from Zara. While I was a big advocate for graphic tees making their way out, I’m becoming another fan of them making their way back in (things always come back faster than you think). I also picked up these fishnet tights from Forever 21 that are a little larger than a normal fishnet tight. They really give off a fun and sexy look but combined with the right pieces can easily be dressed down. Basically this entire outfit is from Zara (minus a few accessories) and I”m especially loving this pleather zip front skirt. While I don’t normally opt for skirts I”m becoming really fond of them. I really wanted the Mango pleather tie front skirt that looks very similar to the Isabel Marant version but when I saw it was out of stock I had to go for another great option. I love this look as an edgy alternative to everyday wear, plus it was great during the cold front by throwing on this teddy bear like coat from last season. Who else is really into the fishnet trend? I can definitely see it going places!
