Long Sleeve Top with Tulle – Zara | Houndstooth Blazer – Pendleton (thrifted) | Knit Asymmetrical Maxi Skirt – Moon River | Gucci Large Logo Belt – Neiman Marcus | Conway Bootie – Dolce Vita | The Stella – Naked Vice
I am having a love affair with belting blazers and I’m so happy I found this piece from Pendleton when I was off on a thrifting adventure a few weeks back. I usually hesitate with these kind of pieces but I knew deep down I would get A LOT of use out of it. I love seeing houndstooth and plaid prints coming back into Fall Fashion and with the comeback of Women’s power suits I definitely think there are cool ways of creating menswear inspired looks with a feminine touch. Again, my Gucci belt is making yet another statement but can you blame me? I splurged on this piece but luckily have found it goes GREAT with all of my outfits. I decided to treat this blazer as more of a blouse and place a sheer long sleeve top from Zara underneath. It really gives it some sex appeal without going straight for a blazer as top look. Instead of going for a traditional pant suit look, I opted for this knit maxi skirt and boots combo to complete the look. Oh, and if you haven’t noticed I’ve also been playing around with color in my hair. I went a little bolder this time around since the color fades quickly but I have to say I’m somewhat addicted to having these bright strands of pink billowing off of my head.
