Blogging definitely has it’s ups and downs. There are days where I’m so inspired and am loving what I’m wearing, and of course days where I have something in mind whether outfit based, location based or creative direction based that just doesn’t work out. Today was one of those days where I had a long day at work and had to be creative after the fact. The sun was setting (quickly) and it was one of those moments where no matter where I stood I felt like I wasn’t getting the kind of shot I was looking for. First world problems I know, but when you are in this industry and care so much about the content you produce it’s just part of the game! In those moments I tell myself that it’s not something to get upset about and to just try my best and hope something ends up working out to my liking. Low and behold it did. Not to mention I have friends who also have amazing visions for photography so that doesn’t hurt. I loved including a few flash shots here which really accentuated the rust color of this blouse from Just One Answer. You guys have probably seen me wearing this brand a lot on Instagram and with good reason. I love their pieces to be worn as sets or separates and for casual or dressy occasions. I enjoyed pairing this particular blouse with some cool sunglasses, strappy sandals, amazing RE/Done denim and a big boater hat that somehow all came together for a really cool look. Sometimes thinking outside of the box and persevering through what seemed like an uncreative night results in a cool look and fun photos to match.
