Technical & Vintage Inspired Sneaker Roundup

There are so many cool trends coming out of the gates this season and one of my favorites that I heavily noticed during NYFW this year was the introduction into more technical and vintage inspired sneakers. These aren’t your grandmas walking shoes folks (although some definitely look that way). What I love the most about technical sneakers is their intricate soles, color combinations and platform base. A few of my favorites right now are the Nike Air Max 97′ (as pictured in my look) along with the Balenciaga Sock Sneakers and Acne Technical Sneakers. While some of these will definitely set you back money wise, there are a few really cool options from Mango for a reasonable price. For someone like myself who was instantly drawn to these kind of sneakers I HAD to have them ASAP and opted to get the Nike Air Max’s since they seemed the most timeless and easy to wear. I will say that the Balenciaga and Acne sneakers are definitely on my wish list! I love seeing these sneakers paired with feminine floral dresses and coats or in this instance, with a pair of tapered trousers and a cute blouse. Shop all of my selects above!
