I.AM.GIA, worth the hype?

There’s a new hot brand in town and they are here to stay. Australian brand I.AM.GIA is a favorite amongst celebrities like Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid and Kourtney Kardashian. A lot of people are probably wondering what makes I.AM.GIA so special or, is I.AM.GIA the label worth the hype? I was introduced to the brand earlier this year and immediately fell in love with their Cobain pants in tan. Little did I know what a craze would be built behind it only a few months later. I grabbed a pair of the Cobain pants after some contemplation but they were only around $80 so I decided to go for it. Only about a week or so later did the pants completely SELL OUT. Whew was I glad I picked them up to wear during Fashion Week. What I love about I.AM.GIA is that they mix sexy pieces with this 90s grunge inspired pieces. The pieces are easily mixed with something as simple as a white t-shirt and you have a really cool looking outfit. It’s really the best way and only way to put it, the styles are just COOL. I’ve bought a few pieces and was lucky to be gifted a few more only fueling more of my love for the brand. My consensus is that, there’s a reason I.AM.GIA is loved amongst celebrities, influencers, stylists and more, it’s because the pieces are cool, relevant and make you feel really good when wearing them. While the sizing can be off here and there (sometimes a little big on me), for the most part I love how everything ends up looking on me. The price point is also extremely reasonable for a brand such as this. I can kind of compare it to the hype that was built behind Reformation when it first came out. Reformation however has a much higher price point while I.AM.GIA is a lot more reasonable with pants around $60 – $200 and tops around $47 – $80. At the end of the day it’s really up to everyones discretion as to whether they like the pieces or not but for me they can be worn in a multitude of ways while still maintaining their fresh and cool girl look to them. It won’t be everyones cup of tea but I definitely say the pieces are worth the hype, I’ve received the most compliments on all of my I.AM.GIA pieces whether wearing them online or out and about.
