Stuart Weitzman Hardware Loafers

There’s something about the look, feel and craftsmanship that goes into loafers. They put out a serious and professional demeanor with a pinch of class and sophistication to any look. These kind of shoes are ones that will stand the test of time and continue to bring inspiration to a slew of designers. The loafers pictured are part of the Chaos of Hardware collection Stuart Weitzman has recently launched and while these are on pre-order I highly recommend getting on the list. As you all know, I’m a big supporter of Stuart Weitzman shoes. They are comfortable, classic, and high quality. I haven’t met one of their shoes I ever needed to break in (heels included). As someone who always has had a thing for loafers it was great to receive a pair that has a little bit of edge to them. From the slick hardware on top to the pointed toe silhouette these are the ultimate shoe for cropped denim, elongating the leg and adding a dressed up element to your look.

I decided to go casual with my outfit today from the underneath, white t-shirt tucked into some high waisted cropped white J Brand denim and more sophisticated with my House of Sunny oversized linen blazer to top it off. This is a great look for taking a trip down to the beach or harbor, taking a boat ride, going out to an after work event, etc. Grabbing your summer woven bag as well will also up the casual elements to this look but it’s still appropriate since it is in the midst of summer. If you work in a more corporate casual environment this is a look that would be perfect to emulate. Having worked in more strict office environments in the past I always strived to find small ways that I can push the envelope when it came to my style without looking like I walked out of Express with the mannequins clothes. The lovely part about going with an all white denim look is that you don’t draw a lot of attention like a blue jean would do. You can easily get away with looking “dressy” without getting stuck with trousers (but I love trousers to sooo haha).
