I recently took a fun trip to Palm Springs for a little R&R for my Birthday / my wedding anniversary. It was actually raining (which is insane) the first night we arrived so the following day we had a really nice cool front. I haven’t seen that kind of weather the past few visits so we took the opportunity to walk around the downtown areas and do a little vintage shopping. I have always wanted to explore Palm Springs vintage shops so I was happy to finally jump into my Yelp bookmarks and get started. Here is a list of the places I visited and what my thoughts were!
Kaden Satin T-Shirt – Nanushka | Plaid Bermuda Shorts – Vintage | Palma Patent Leather Sandals – Maryam Nassir Zadeh | Jacob Cognac Bag – Balzac Paris |
This was by far the cutest exterior and interior for me. It had the perfect curated selection that included decade, designer and on trend pieces. I was taken aback by a really awesome floral Chanel coat and a Christian Dior painted print mens shirt but ended up walking out with the plaid shorts you see in the photos above! I absolutely adore long shorts right now they just have the perfect look alongside being comfortable and easy to wear. No worries about having to pull down shorty shorts! This was by far the store we spent the most time in. Only downside yet upside for us was that it was close to our hotel, the other vintage shops were all on the same street as one another which made it easier to hit multiple stores at once.
Again this was a wonderful shop of curated pieces. There was a canvas YSL crossbody I still am kicking myself for not buying. There were definitely a lot more colorful pieces here but their handbag selection was pretty high caliber as well. They had Chanel, Dior and as I mentioned YSL so this is definitely a shop to swing by anytime you are in the area to see what kind of goodies they have at the moment.
This store was huge and included a lot of really awesome housewares as well that included cups, lamps and furniture. I loved their selection and fair prices. They also had a slew of cowboy boots which I am a HUGE fan of right now. This was definitely the spot for true vintage without crazy designer mixed in. They also really focused on decade pieces so you saw a lot of 60s, 70s and 80s attire.
There were a few more I wanted to swing by but ended up running out of time! Definitely will share those when I do but in the meantime if you are planning a Fall trip to the desert definitely keep these in the back of your mind if you are looking for a fun daytime thing to do!
